Dodging midfielders

Atlas LC attempted more shots following initiations from the midfield than any team in the league – but shot only 22.2% on those looks.

Bryan Costabile (10-for-50 unassisted), Dan Bucaro (9-for-49 unassisted), and Romar Dennis (8-for-33 unassisted) were able to get their hands free, but struggled finishing – most notably against Chaos LC in the semifinals when the champs triple-poled the Bulls.

LSM

On the other end… opponents shot 29.5% against Atlas LC when initiating from the midfield. Only Chrome’s rope unit was weaker.

A dynamic LSM can be a gamechanger in this league with a 100-yard field and 15-yard 2-point arc. Koby Smith (Towson) is the 14th-ranked overall player on Paul Carcaterra’s Big Board – his game is made for the pro rules.

Defensive depth

Returning starters Tucker Durkin, Cade van Raaphorst, and Michael Rexrode are the only true close defensemen on Atlas LC’s roster.
