When and why did you start the Arizona Outlaws organization?
Arizona Outlaws was initially started as a Box Program, led by former NLL Pro Ben Prepchuk. He opened up field lacrosse as a resource for more kids to play lacrosse. Coach Prepchuk closed the field side to focus on his nationally recognized box program. In Arizona, lacrosse is still growing. Resources are limited but here a few great coaches and resources that are out here in the desert. In the fall of 2019 a plan was put in place for myself, Casey Connor (Maryland '00/Current ASU Club Coach) and Ben Prepchuk to come under one brand and form the strongest field program Arizona has seen. We relaunched the field side of the Arizona Outlaws as a necessity to help grow the game, develop players at a higher rate and use our knowledge/expertise/resources to help the greater good of Arizona lacrosse.

What makes your club unique or interesting?
Coaching is the building block of our club and what sets us apart in Arizona. We employ coaches who have incredible lacrosse pedigrees and a passion to coach. It is also important that all of our coaches also play a role in coaching at the youth, high school and collegiate level in Arizona. The Arizona Outlaws is a unique club because we also offer Box Lacrosse which is run by a former NLL Pro. Majority of the players in our club also participate in playing on our nationally recognized Box lacrosse program. As we are seeing in college and professional lacrosse, players with box lacrosse experience and skills often have a ton of success at the next level.

What are the short and long term goals for your organization?
Our short term goal is to continue to grow the game of lacrosse. Arizona lacrosse is still in the infancy stages of growth. The adage "It Takes A Village" is how I view lacrosse in Arizona and why I felt it was imperative for myself, Casey Connor and Ben Prepchuk to form the Arizona Outlaws and teach the game the right way. Our long term goal is to be a nationally recognized program and to have players in our program use lacrosse to get them to the next level collegiately.
