Ryan Brown led the PLL with 21 assisted goals. The Waterdogs moved him around so that his defender was always hot -- popping him free for righty or lefty shots from every release point imaginable.

Brown seesawed with Mikie Schlosser’s speed. He mirrored Connor Kelly’s rollbacks and rocker steps. He screened and cut and worked to get open against slower-to-go defenses like Chrome LC. It’d be wrong to call Brown a “crease attackman” since his range extends beyond the arc -- but he’s a throwback off-ball scorer in every other sense.
