Players Top 50: #19 TD Ierlan

The fourth overall pick in the 2021 College Draft dominated at the stripe as a rookie. TD Ierlan won 65.0% of his faceoffs -- and a league-high 68.7% of those wins were to himself.
TD is a technician. He turned 80.3% of his clamp wins into faceoff wins (2nd in PLL). He violated on 0.98% of his attempts -- best by a wide margin, with Connor Farrell (2.74%) and Max Adler (4.18%) in a distant second and third.
Faceoff athletes don’t always adapt quickly from college to pros. The rules are different -- you’re farther from the ball and your wings are closer to you. And you’re going against the best in the world.
TD won 78% of his faceoffs in his first game as a pro, proving he was ready for the big stage.
